Annual Operating Budget

The annual budget for the Village of Flossmoor is for the period beginning May 1 and ending April 30 each fiscal year. This document represents the collaborative efforts of the management staff and the Village Board to produce a balanced financial plan and work program for the year. The Village of Flossmoor’s annual operating budget serves as the primary planning and financial tool to accomplish the many objectives, policies and programs set by the Village Board.

The FY26 Annual Operating Budget was presented and approved at the April 21, 2025, Village Board meeting.

Annual Comprehensive Financial Report 

The Village is required to issue annually a report on its financial position and activity presented in conformance with the United States Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and audited in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards by an independent firm of certified public accountants.

Village of Flossmoor Earns 47th Consecutive GFOA Award

The Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) awarded Flossmoor a Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting for its Annual Comprehensive Financial Report for the fiscal year ending April 30, 2024. This was the 47th consecutive year the Village received this prestigious award. This award is the highest form of recognition in the areas of governmental accounting and financial reporting.
