The Flossmoor Planning & Zoning Department is responsible for:
- Community development
- Village planning
- Zoning regulations
The department also provides staff support to the Village Board, Plan Commission and Zoning Board of Appeals in the review of all development plans proposed within the Village.
Other staff functions involve:
- Public hearings for zoning amendments
- Special-use permits
- Subdivision platting and mapping
- Variances
- Zoning review or building plans
