Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service 2026
Flossmoor’s Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service — held annually on the observed birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. — coordinates hundreds of volunteers to help with a variety of non-profit service in and around Flossmoor. The Day of Service is organized by the Flossmoor Community Relations Commission.
Thank you to all who participated in the 11th annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service on Monday, Jan. 19, 2026! We were thrilled to feature 25 service projects across the Village. Thank you to the Flossmoor Community Relations Commission for organizing another wonderful Day of Service, and to project partners, residents, supporters and volunteers who work year round to help others, and to make Flossmoor a beautiful community of volunteerism. Enjoy some moments from the weekend's activities in our photo slideshow, then check below for ways you can get involved all year long.
For those interested in continuing to support these important organizations and businesses, we encourage you to reach out to them directly to find more ways to give back. Thank you again to everyone who made this year's Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service successful.
