Flossmoor's two main shopping areas — the central business district and Flossmoor Commons (Vollmer Road & Governors Hwy.) — offer shoppers a selection of exclusive stores and service establishments.
- Flossmoor's quaint historic center offers a variety of shops and restaurants all within walking distance of the railroad station. The most notable feature of the downtown district is the Tudor-style Civic Center building, built in 1929, housing a unique mix of retail stores, restaurants and offices. Flossmoor's entire downtown, the historic center of the Village, offers an eclectic mix of shops and restaurants designed to appeal to a wide range of tastes and interests.
- Flossmoor Commons shopping and office complex, located on Vollmer Road between Kedzie Avenue and Governors Highway, offers it own array of retail shops, restaurants, and services.
